Somewhere in the depths of space... A horrific nightmare is about to become a reality - The horror-birth spawned in space ... A far from human birth
Conceived in violence, carried in terror, born to devastate and brutalize a universe
Although comparison's to Alien (1979) and Alien Resurrection (1997) and are inevitable - it is important to note that Inseminoid was released in 1977!
A research team is deployed on a mining expedition to determine the cause of the disappearance of two previous teams.
During one of the digs, strange crystals are found .. which seem to have an effect on some of the researchers. One of the men eventually goes berserk, and is shot dead by another scientist. Soon after that, another team member is torn apart by an alien in the mine .. a second team member, Susan, is rendered unconscious and kidnapped.
The next scene takes place in a dark room; the women is lying on a platform. A figure approaches .. it is the alien. A clear tube is deployed .. and we see that the woman is to become the host of its offspring.
Hours later, Susan is recovered by a rescue time in the mine, in shock and disoriented. She is placed in the infirmary, and kept under observation.
As her pregnancy becomes obvious, her maniacal tendencies increase .. she eventually goes on a killing spree, and the entire mining station is put into lockdown. Susan eventually gives birth to the terrifying offspring as the rest of the team tries to stop her rampage.
Directed by Norman J. Warren; starring Robin Clarke, Jennifer Ashley, Stephanie Beacham, Steven Grives, Barry Houghton, Rosiland Lloyd, Victoria Tennant, Trevor Thomas, Heather Wright, David Baxt, and Judy Geeson.
